Woody mountain (1235 m) in Czech ridge above the junction of rivers Labe and Bílé Labe. On the one side the slopes steeply fall in valley Labský důl and Špindlerův Mlýn.
On the other side the mountain verges to ridge of mountain Krkonoš. On the slopes of Medvědín there is situated an important ski centre with many ski tows and downhill courses. From Špindlerův Mlýn to the top of Medvědím goes the chair funicular from the year 1975.
